Basic Bowflex Motivator

I have owned a Bowflex Motivator for 9 years and have used it extensively. I have also worked out on free weights and just about every type of equiptment you can imagine, including air piston drive systems, cybar equiptment, universal systems, olympic free weight sets etc.

I find that the Bowflex system is great. I get can get a good workout in a short amount of time and my joints and tendons don't have the damage on them that heavy weight can cause. I particularly like using the machine now that I'm at 57 years of age and have torn rotators and arthritis in my joints.

I would say that the Bowflex has it's limitations for the number of effect exercises available, but you can "get it done" with a little know how.

I'm not the only one in my house to use the machine.I have two sons and many of their friends that have used it over the years. It's a different "pump" and you don't feel the full results until the next day, but it's a good workout. It also provides the best ab crunches on the planet.

My 2 cents.
