Beginner Body Building Help Needed

(Hyderabad, India)

Hi, I am a 23 year old beginner body builder and am mostly interested in sports like cricket. I am 5'11 and weigh 72kgs but from my appearance I look quite lean. It's for this reason that I'm thinking of joining a gym and looking for some good body building tips suitable for beginner body building.

Many of my friends say that I should use body builder supplements such as the many protein powders that are available and then start going to the gym. My main concern with body builder supplements is that there are many powders available and since I'm from Hyderabad, India the sellers don't have a clear idea about these types of products.

I don't want to waste my money on body builder supplements that are useless or dangerous. I would appreciate any help or advice someone could give me in this area as well.

As far as good body building routines or body building programs go, I am basically looking at building a little bit of muscle to help in my appearance and in sports as well. I'd be very grateful to anyone who could point me in the right direction with some good body building tips to get started. Thank you.

Why use body builder supplements?

Mate, to be 100% honest with you, supplements are only for extreme guys or ones who cannot gain muscle naturally, have a go at the gym, take it steadily and make sure your doing things correctly, if you are and your seeing results dont worry about supplements.

It sounds like you want to gain some size but not heaps, im 5ft 5 and 86kgs and I was all fat, but once I started working out I've gotten huge muscles with no supplements, only took me about 5 months of about 3 or 4 times a week, makeing sure i didnt over do it.

Follow that and you will get more size and definition.

First of all if you're interested in a game like cricket, your physical apperance matters alot. Here are some beginner body building tips: Try jogging, swimming and skipping or play any sport daily, this will improve your stamina and your body will be naturally toned.

Stick to this concept of beginner body building, but remember, you will not see the results very early, it will take sometime. But after a while, the results are pretty prominient. Other beginner body building tips can include using push-ups, pullups and triceps dips for body building that will focus on, and help your entire upper body.

Another thing, eat healthy foods.

Note! There are actually a few good online meal planning programs that help with a good body builder diet and allow the user to choose foods they like.
